Greg’s path to becoming a massage therapist came out of his personal need to solve chronic pain and dysfunctional movement patterns stemming from a variety of injuries sustained from years of competitive athletics. Born and raised in the Kootenay’s, Greg has been involved in a wide range of sporting activities from an early age. Recently he has been active in training for and participating in trail ultramarathons and Ironmans.
Greg is a graduate of Simon Fraser University and the West Coast College of Massage Therapy’s 3000 hr program. He has continued his professional education in the areas of Osteopathy, gait analysis and injured runner rehabilitation.
He has acquired a wide range of clinic experiences as an RMT. As a highly motivated therapist, Greg is committed to integrated self-care and active rehabilitation while always stressing patient education. A prime area of interest for Greg is encouraging a balanced approach to life, work, health and fitness for his patients. Adept at all forms of massage therapy, Greg uses neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, trigger-point therapy and deep tissue techniques as the focal points of his treatments.
